Phoenix supports the protection of natural forests in Rwanda

Since its creation, Phoenix has been committed to a global environmental approach aimed at limiting the ecological footprint of our activity. This approach has been formalized by a CSR Charter integrating the challenges of sustainable development both in the strategy and daily management of the company and in the management of projects carried out for our clients.

Despite our efforts to reduce our travel, our international activity required 36 air trips for our employees in 2023, generating greenhouse gas emissions estimated at 48.9 tons of CO2.

Like every year, we decided to offset these emissions by contributing to an agroforestry, reforestation and conservation project. This year, we are supporting a project to develop improved stoves for the conservation of the Ibanda-Makera gallery forest in Rwanda.

Rwanda is one of the 25 countries in which we intervened in 2023.
