Contributing to a better future: our support for updating the financial model of the water sector in Ivory Coast
Valérie Audibert recently spoke in Grand Bassam to once again support the updating of the financial model for the water sector, which she developed in 2019.
This model is a central tool for financial planning and sector regulation for:
- assess the long-term financial viability of key players and;
- guide investment decisions and price adjustments.
This mission is part of the project to strengthen the drinking water supply in urban areas (PREMU) in Ivory Coast.
With teams from the Ministry of Hydraulics, Sanitation and Health (MinHAS), ONEP and SODECI, she worked on integrating data for the years 2023 and 2024 into the financial model.
This update session was an opportunity to strengthen the skills of end users, enabling them to master model updating and ensure the relevance of financial analyses.
Many thanks to all stakeholders for their trust, commitment, and collaboration. It’s always a pleasure to work alongside them!
